Neston Ecumenical Singers

Our Christmas concerts took place in December at St. Winefride’s Catholic Church and Parkgate URC.

The concerts raised over £300 for charity shared between Neston High School music development fund and Claire House Hospice.

Part of the programme featured the UK premieré of Suffolk-based composer, Graeme Hopson‘s carol, Snowflakes. Read more about the carol on our conductor’s blog.

The singers performed two 50 minute sets of our favourite Christmas Carols at Gordale Garden Centre last Thursday evening, entertaining Santa and various other entertainers along with hundreds of visitors to the centre on their annual Christmas Open Evening. Needless to say, between the sets, the centre café’s ‘Coffee and a mince pie for £1.50′ was well received!
