Hymns of Praise, Shotwick

St Michael's Church, Shotwick

We lead a celebration of the new sound system and hymn booksVisit event on Facebook at St. Michael’s Church, Shotwick on Friday 2nd October, 2009 which featured favourite hymns of the congregation along with a couple of well known anthems.

Simon Walker, organ scholar at Chester Cathedral accompanied the choir on the organ in Fauré’s Cantique de Jean Racine. We also performed Brucker’s delightful little motet, Locus Iste.

The podcast contains just under 13 minutes of edited ‘highlights’ from the service.

Purcell – Rejoice in the Lord Alway
